Abstract
Mateusz Wojtanowski’s monograph proposes an original concept of the cultural judicialisation of public administration, according to which its subjection to the law should be understood not merely as compliance with legal norms, but as participation in legal culture and an interpretative community. The author breaks down the traditional opposition between judge and civil servant, presenting the latter as a fully-fledged interpreter of the law. This work combines theoretical legal analysis with an examination of judicial practice, revealing discrepancies between the formalist model of interpretation and actual interpretative pluralism. As part of the postanalytic philosophy of law, the monograph integrates theory and legal doctrine and formulates a normative proposal of significant importance for understanding the role of public administration in a democratic state governed by the rule of law.
